Boxrae
Modular Typeface
Boxrae is an abstract and geometric typeface designed using a custom grid to create a unique visual structure. Each letterform is built from a combination of circles and squares, exploring how these shapes can merge seamlessly within a type system. The result is a dynamic and modern typeface that balances rigidity with fluidity.
Bringing this typeface to life required careful refinement, as I experimented with different formats to achieve the right balance. This project challenged me in new ways and deepened my interest in type design. I was very happy with the final outcome, and I look forward to further exploring typography in future projects.
